Return & Warranty Policy

At Wai Gardens, LLC, we stand behind the quality of every plant, system, and component we deliver. We want you to be confident in your purchase, so we have put together the following return and warranty policy. Please read it carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Plants

Live plants must be returned within 7 days of the original delivery or pickup date. Because plants are living goods that are highly sensitive to handling, light, water, and environmental conditions after they leave our care, we are unable to accept returns past this window. To qualify for a return:

  • The plant must be in its original container.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order number) must be provided.
  • The plant must show no signs of neglect, over-watering, pest infestation introduced after delivery, or other preventable damage.

Approved plant returns will be refunded at the full purchase price, less any applicable delivery or restocking fees.

2. Hydroponic & Aquaponic Systems — All Sales Final

All hydroponic and aquaponic systems, both custom-built and standard, are sold as final-sale and are non-refundable. This applies regardless of whether the system has been installed, used, or remains unopened.

Systems are built, sourced, and configured specifically for each customer's project. Once a system has been delivered, it cannot be resold as new and is therefore not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

While systems themselves are non-refundable, the components and parts inside them remain protected under our 1-year limited warranty described in Section 3 below. If a part of your system fails under normal use, we will repair or replace the affected component under the terms of that warranty.

To help you feel confident in your purchase before the sale is final, we strongly encourage customers to:

  • Review the system specifications, sizing, and quote in detail before signing off.
  • Ask questions about installation, maintenance, and operating requirements up front.
  • Request a consultation or site walk-through if you have any uncertainty about fit, space, or capacity.

3. Parts & Components Warranty

All parts and components sold by Wai Gardens, LLC — whether purchased individually or as part of a system — are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects and normal wear and tear from the date of purchase or installation. If a covered part fails under normal use during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the part at no cost to you, at our discretion.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Component failure resulting from normal, intended use.

4. Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under any return or warranty offered by Wai Gardens, LLC:

  • Vandalism. Any damage caused by intentional acts of vandalism, theft, tampering, or third-party interference will immediately and fully void the warranty on the affected system or component.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation by a third party, or failure to follow our care and operating instructions.
  • Damage caused by natural disasters, severe weather, flooding, fire, power surges, or other acts of nature.
  • Modifications, repairs, or alterations made by anyone other than Wai Gardens, LLC or an authorized representative.
  • Cosmetic wear that does not affect function (scratches, fading, mineral buildup, etc.).
  • Consumable items such as nutrients, growing media, seeds, filters, and bulbs unless defective on arrival.
